When you pay to advertise in the search engine you have to remember that most people are "ad blind" now. They are so used to seeing the ads on the right column that they no longer even see them. If they don't see your ad, then they don't click. People go online looking for information. If your site comes up first for the information they are looking for the chances they will click are great.

Paying for your Traffic

Usually, you will be charged with the number of hits a link gets when your ads is clicked, this is called pay per click. For some search engines, you will be charged with the number of times your ad shows up when a certain keyword or keyword phrase is searched. It is imperative that you have good keyword content in your ad. Keyword research is another tricky element of this process for beginners.
