The Best Tourist Attractions to Visit in Rio De Janeiro

Rio De Janeiro, world heritage site by meaning, is the second largest city in Brazil, the sixth largest city in the Americas, and the fifty-fifth largest city in the entire world by population and commonly referred to as Rio. The city lies on the Atlantic coast near the tropic of Capricorn and the city bigger portion faces the south. The center of the city found to the pains of Guanabara Bay to the west.

Sights

When it comes to tours and travel, the mention of the city of Rio De Janeiro creates a background picture the beautiful landscapes, fun filled activities and sports and some of the world's most popular celebrations such as the carnival celebrations which is a celebration made annually by the Roman Catholic which allows celebrations and the consumption of Red mead just before the forty days of lent pentance. Bossa nova, samba celebration and the beautiful sandy beaches of ipanema, leblon and Copacabana.

Some of the most admired sceneries and landmarks include the giant standing statute of Christ the Redeemer on top of the Corcovado which adds the list of the seven wonders of the world to seven, the Sugarloaf mountain and its cable car and the Sambodromo which is the grand lined parade where most of the activities and celebrations are held and of cause, the Maracana stadium, one of the world's largest football stadium.

Rio has some of the best five star hotels in the world with more than two hundred to choose from. Some of the hotels include the Orla Copacabana hotel, Royal Rio Palace place Hotel and the Apestana Rio Atlanta hotel with some located in the city and others at the shores of the Atlantic ocean. Prices vary with the services offered such as wifi in the rooms and various entertainment options for you.

Sporting activities mostly done here are water surfing, sand bathing, surfing and at times fishing.

Getting around

Public transport in Rio is mainly done by city buses which are moderately priced which is approximately r$3 per ride, and are available in both air conditioned and non air conditioned versions which are priced differently.bus transport in Rio is relatively safe at daytime and less at night. Urban trains and subways are also used with the major subway lines being two. The metro Rio,With 42 kilometers and 32 stations. It is the cleanest and safest means of public transport.

Weather

Climatic conditions in Rio are generally tropical which means the city enjoys clear sunny skies and a hot weather most times of the year though slight variations maybe experienced in the seasonal climate but nothing can ruin a holiday vacation in Rio De Janeiro
