2008 Hair styles Anything Goes

Sep 12, 2008
2008 hair styles are all about the individual. Every year, hair styles seem to change as often as the fashion trends. What was in last year is sometimes old hat this year. Many hair styles become popular because of celebrities. All it takes is one celebrity sporting a new look, and voila theres our hair style that everyone else wants. 2008 hair styles are a balance of individuality and imitation, rolled into one.

This year there is mega variety in 2008 hair styles, so anyone can find a hair style that is flattering to their features and their tastes. Of course there are always those of us who are happy with the current hair style that they have now; the thing to do this year is to add some color and chunks. Even though it may not be a drastic change, it is a change nevertheless, and youll fit right in with the hair trends of 2008.

One 2008 hair style that seems to be a trend every year is the bob cut. The bob cut was huge in 2007, and several years before that periodically throughout fashion history, and this classic seems to have longevity like no other cut. Why? The reason is that it can be as simple or as done up as you want it to be. The bob cut is a cute cut, and can be a wash n go style or a high maintenance do for a night on the town. It is classic, simple, easy to maintain, and is a great short cut that still has length at the same time. It works well with any face shape because the length can be adjusted to flatter any contours of the face. Near shoulder length, right at the chin, or up near the ears, the bob cut has many variations, but should always appear shiny, healthy, and natural.

Other 2008 hair styles that are hot to wear are the cropped cuts, the emo hairstyles, layered styles full of body, and elegant, wavy styles. Mid length cuts are in this year, when previously a mid length cut had been a dull choice, appearing as drab. Women wearing bangs is also beginning to make a comeback; combine a great looking bob with bangs and even a few layers, and youll feel like a celebrity yourself. Curls and waves always seem to bring the word sexy with them, as long as they are healthy, smooth, and definitely not frizzy or overly dry looking. Curls are also great with any length; the bigger, loose curls are what are turning heads this year, and you can have curly hair trailing down your back or short, wavy hair falling over the face.

2008 hair styles for men follow a bit of the same pattern, though the hot trend is a style that actually looks somewhat unkempt and messy. Gels, sprays, and polishes for men are becoming more and more in demand, and whether a fellow has longer layers or a shorter style, the fashion in 2008 hair styles is messy, but never dirty looking.

With everything from bob cuts to curls to messy not dirty to emo, 2008 hair styles are all about what the individual wants, while subtly making a statement that says, I know fashion.
