Some Signs Of Pyramid Schemes

Sep 13, 2008
Many unsuspecting people have fallen into the pyramid scheme trap and have lost money instead of making them. Not all companies or job sites have legitimate offers - this has become a hot topic as more people have become frustrated after finding out you have to pay so much money to work online.

While the advertisements that arrive in the inbox may be fast the money promised usually never materializes. However you must not discount totally the existence of legitimate companies offering work at home jobs backed by real substantial rewards for work completed.

On the surface it looks rather stupid to reject a free offer to join a pyramid scheme that promises riches so simple to achieve. It is in fact a nightmare because you have to sign up and then 'upgrade to a status member' by buying the product in question, whether you want it or not. After that, you are told you can make money from those under you, but only if they in turn buy the product as well - now the pyramid scheme is taking place.

Therefore, to make twenty dollars, you may have to spend sixty dollars and then there is no guarantee that someone under you is going to buy the product. For those who join to earn a second income from the pyramid scheme, they can fall back onto their main income job but for those who depend totally on this income (having discarded their old job), the decision making presents a big ordeal of the river of no return. That is not to say that all internet based opportunities are bad because the likes of affiliate programs are also quite popular and done properly will bring in a good income. Besides you will also know how to identify which companies are offering false schemes no matter what disguises they are using. Enter forums too to examine the reputation of different companies before you get involved working for them.

A lot of people were driven to the wall and lost a lot of money through pyramid schemes and many types of money making ideas. When a pyramid is structured with a spillover placement of members, those who joined in the early stages will be lucky and would make some money well over and above what they invest in the scheme but those who bring up the rear are the ones who will lose money. It is not easy to locate people who will buy sixty dollars worth of products they will never use to make a few dollars.

People who sign up to join one of these schemes are not made unaware at the outset that they will have to buy something to make money. Once you have enrolled, you will be harassed from time to time to spend more money on products should you want to start to make money. Well, in order to upgrade, you are going to have to buy that product and take a chance that someone else will feel the same way but in many cases, you are going to find out that you were the only one to do it.

After giving up the scheme you find yourself stranded with sixty dollars worth of product that will go to waste. If people understand the catch behind pyramid schemes, then it would be easier to find real work at home jobs. The need to investigate before signing up for any internet work at home jobs can be safely discounted, in the absence of pyramid scams.
