What are the Top Ten Search Niches
When you're researching for profitable niches these ten general categories always come up. They come up because they are the search engines high volume searches. The great thing about each one of these categories is they remain high volume month after month, year after year.
If you pick one of these categories and drill down to the best keywords you can be assured of high traffic volume to your website. Within each one of these categories are hugely profitable niches just waiting for you to start marketing to. The first rule in internet marketing is to find out what buyers want and give it to them.
Now these are not the only profitable niches by a long shot, but they are a great starting point for you to explore. Use these categories as a guide and pick the ones you are most interested in.
Health and Fitness; this will include weight loss & dieting, diabetes, heart disease, body building, anti-aging, skin care, nutrition, supplements and more. The sky is the limit on this one and the great thing is this category's search volume never slows down.
Money and Finance; credit cards, loans, mortgages, bankruptcy, payday loans, taxes, debt consolidation, insurance, estate planning and more. These buyers have money and buy. This is a very profitable niche to be in.
Family and Self Help; Kids & parenting, relationships & dating, weddings, divorce and more. This includes all your dating sites, wedding planning, motivation, all your self improvement. This niche is also huge. The sub-niches are almost endless here.
Business Opportunities & Work-At-Home: These sub-niches are infinite. eBay, online marketing, MLMs, home-based business, affiliate marketing, etc. This is my favorite simply because I know the most about it.
Travel; Think about this one! Hotel & airfares, vacation packages & rentals, cruises, timeshares, honeymoons, reunions, etc. Again this is endless. The good thing is if you're in this niche you can receive a lot of free benefits by promoting programs here.
Slow down and take your time going through each one of these. You will begin to see all the potential. When you're finished with this article you will have so many ideas it may take some time to settle down and short list just two or three. If you don't have any ideas when you finish you may not be suited for this business.
Jobs and Careers; resumes, interviewing skills, job searches, career changes, etc. You have searched in this general niche. Believe me you're not the only one.
Investments; stock trading, currency & forex trading, stock quotes & forecasting services, trading software, etc. This also is huge. Just start a stock review site with affiliate links. This is what people want.
Internet; domain names, web hosting, antispam, adware & spyware, shopping carts, web design, broadband & wireless, etc. Huge, huge, huge. There are people selling just one or two types of software and making a fortune. Remember you can affiliate market a tremendous amount of software.
Communications; telephone, cable and satellite, cell phones, VOIP, toll-free numbers, cheap long distance, ring tones, etc. Do your research and you will find you can sell ring tones. The sky is the limit.
Instruction; languages, music instruction, do-it-yourself projects, job and professional training, etc. Do-it-yourself is also huge. Decide what you like and are good at. Build your site around that skill.
I hope you can see that the profitable niches are endless. Just keep in mind you still have to do your research and check keyword volume. This should give you several days work to put you in a profitable niche and start to make money.
