Arent all skin products basically the same? They all promise the same results, probably using the same ingredients, dont they? So you can just buy any brand at any shop since they re all the same anyways, right? This is in fact NOT the case. While some skin care products perform exactly as advertised, others are best avoided entirely. Some skin care products even contain chemicals and additives that can irritate you skin and make matters worse rather than better!
So how can you tell the difference between these products and what should you look for if you want to buy a skin care product that lives up to its promise? If you know what to look for, it's really not that difficult.
Your skin is not designed to absorb chemicals, dyes, perfumes and other additives, so its no surprise that these ingredients can cause irritation and breakouts in many. One thing to keep an eye out for when shopping for skin care products is the word hypoallergenic. This means that these products dont contain any ingredients which tend to cause allergic reactions.

Your skin will thank you for feeding it. What do we mean by feeding the skin? Your skin will be healthier if it is allowed to absorb vitamins and minerals. The vitamins of most use to your skin are vitamins A,C and E.

This helps to keep the entire atmosphere around you warm and moist, and your skin will absorb this moisture as well. You also want to drink plenty of water for the same reason. This helps your skin to be nourished from the inside out and will help it to stay healthy and moist.
It is also a good idea to keep an eye on your diet. What you put into your body affects your skin and, if you want to keep it as wrinkle-free and healthy as possible, try to eat foods such as fruits and vegetables, since their vitamins and minerals will nourish your skin. Eating a healthy diet full of vitamins and minerals will help your skin care products to do their job too. You can't expect your lotions and potions to perform miracles if you aren't drinking enough water or eating a balanced diet.
The most important thing is to really look at the products you are using on your skin and make sure you have chosen the best skin care products for you. Also, drink plenty of water and watch what you eat. If you do all this, your skin should be radiant, healthy and wrinkle-free for years to come.
