Why You Should Use The Chemical Carpet Cleaning Method

Aug 17, 2007
Cleaning your carpet leaves you making a few choices. The main choice you have to make is deciding which method you're going to use for getting out that pesky stain. Are you going to have your carpet steam cleaned or are you going to use chemical carpet cleaning? Steam cleaning your carpet leaves it wet afterwards and it's recommended that you don't walk on it until it's dry. Also, you can be left with a mildew smell and you run the risk of having mold grow in your house if it isn't the correct temperature. Chemical carpet cleaning is now preferred by many people because it leaves your carpet dry, and you avoid the risks that come along with steam cleaning.

When you want your carpet cleaned, usually, you hire a company to come out to steam clean your carpet. However, steam cleaning leaves your carpet soaking wet for long periods of time. If you don't have your house at the correct temperature afterwards, your carpet may not dry correctly and what you're left with is a stinky, wet carpet. This doesn't exactly equal clean in my book. Instead, you should definitely try chem dry carpet cleaning. Chem dry carpet cleaning uses certain chemicals to clean your carpet. The best part is that you don't have to wait for your carpet to dry. You have a clean carpet and it's done in minutes instead of hours.

Chemical carpet cleaning makes use of certain chemicals in order to break the stain down. You can use chemical carpet cleaning on certain stains that won't come up using conventional methods. This usually includes pet stains, such as urine, to ink and other carpet staining substances.

A stained carpet can make a house look drab and unkempt. Using chemicals to clean your carpet makes it look great for as longas you own it. As with any carpet cleaning services, it's best to have the cleaning treatment performed as soon as the stain occurs. You don't want the substance leaking down into the padding of the carpet, that is when the stain becomes permanent. It's very hard to remove the stain once it's embedded deep into the carpet padding.

So, the next time you need your carpet cleaned, don't wet your carpet and run the risk of mold and mildew growing in your house. If you do develop a mold and mildew problem, it can be a potential health hazard. Also when it comes time to sell your house you will be very surprised at how hard it is to sell it because of this lingering problem. Instead, use chemical carpet cleaning. It can be very helpful on even the most pesky stains and there are many professionals who will come to your house to perform this method for you. It's one of the best ways to keep your carpet looking great so that you're not embarrassed about your stained carpet whenever you have company over.
