Free DIRECTV and Your TV Is All About Finding a Match
You too can get a free DIRECTV. You can also choose the kind of HD TV that you want to use. Learn to make the best pick.
Being lucky doesn't really stop when you have an HD programming right into your TV. You can actually get a free DIRECTV, which you can install up to 4 rooms. The good news is that you can even get free installation for it, if you don't like the hassle of doing it yourself or if you don't know how.
The question now is what type of TV you should choose. You're in luck again, as there are plenty that you can choose. It's just a question of how much you're willing to spend, the size of TV you want, and, of course, the quality you like to receive from them.
1. Direct-view. Unknown to you, maybe, even those large boxes that you see in electronic stores are capable of delivering HD channels. They are what you call direct-view tubes, televisions that are filled with CRTs. They normally carry standard-definition programming, but they also have built-in digital tuners.
Of course, because of the crude technology that they have, compared to the one you can find in plasma TV and LCD screens, direct-view tubes can't produce quality HD images. Moreover, as more and more TVs are becoming smaller or slimmer, it would not be long before these kinds of televisions will be out in the market. They are also heavy to carry, can't work closely with a PC, and have very limited aspect ratio. The good news is these are way cheaper than other televisions for free DIRECTV.
2. Plasma. There are just two possible things you have to watch out for when it comes to plasma TV: its price and energy efficiency. It is considered to be the most expensive that you can use for your free DIRECTV. It also has the tendency to experience burn-in and is not as energy efficient as LCD screens.
However, the cost is well-compensated by the kind of quality it gives you. In fact, if you want to set up a home entertainment or theater system, the plasma TV is the best choice. It can definitely produce HD quality of images, where resolution offers very clear and sharp colors. Motions of characters are very vivid, and aspect ratio is just right. It also has a very wide viewing angle.
3. LCD screen. Then you have the LCD screens. There are a lot of LCDs sold in the market that it becomes no surprise that a lot of those availing of free DIRECTV are currently using them. There are also a lot of choices when it comes to size or even to price. They are also considered to be more energy efficient than plasma, and there's no way that you will have to settle for burn-in. The bad news is that the type of image quality is not as comparable as that of plasma, and the viewing angles are somewhat narrow.
