Classified ad services are used for many different reasons. Following are six different types of classifieds ads that are commonly found.
1. Blog

The community area of an online listing service website is great for finding out about classes offered in your region, activities that are coming up soon, as well as finding reliable childcare. You can also get in touch with local volunteers and even check out the lost and found section if you have lost something-or found something!

The employment category is broken down further into subcategories so that you can place an ad for a job or find that perfect job easily. Some of the subcategories include: accounting and finance, marketing and promotion, human resources, writing, engineering, education, technical, and more.
5. Personals
The personals section isn't just for those who are looking for love. You can also find new friends, a new pen pal, or someone who is interested in a "no strings attached" type of relationship. For those of you who are looking for that special someone, you can place an ad in women seeking men, women seeking women, men seeking women, or men seeking men sections.
6. For Sale
If you have something that you want to get rid of and could use some extra cash, this is the section for you to check out. Most for sale sections are broken up into sub-sections including tools, sporting equipment, electronics, furniture, jewelry, clothing, books, child items, and more. There is also a wanted section so that you an place an ad for that certain item you have been looking for.
