The Truth About The Attraction Marketing Scam

By Dean Caporella
Dec 1, 2008
Attraction marketing has impacted the MLM industry in a big way over the past twelve months. In fact, it's popularity has been such that unless you're now using it then you could be falling way behind in terms of consistent business growth.

But there are still questions about whether we are simply being "blinded" by an attraction marketing scam? Is it legitimate or is it just a great marketing ploy with just a few benefiting from it? The answer to that is a resounding no simply because the concept is too powerful to ignore.

In plain terms, attracting prospects to you rather than going out and chasing them down is a concept many MLMers dream about. And there are too many success stories with renegade network marketers reporting almost unheard of prospect tallies each week for this to be just a passing phase.

One of the best ways to assess the merits of attraction marketing is to take a look at your situation right now. Is your network marketing business growing? Are you constantly having to chase people to get some interest in your opportunity? Has your names list run dry and now you need fresh names? Where are you going to get your prospects from? Are you being told your self-belief is not strong enough?

Attraction Marketing Scam?

In all honesty, while self-belief is important it's not going to have people contacting you and asking you about your business. Let's take a look at why the internet will be your most powerful ally in attracting leads into your business:

- The internet works 24/7 365 days of the year
- Your target market won't just be located in a confined perimeter around your home
- You will have a worldwide audience
- The internet allows you to target the audience you want instead of just throwing it out there and hoping you get a bite

And best of all, it will allow you to brand yourself as an expert in your chosen field. For example, if it's nutrition then with a blog, website, web 2 properties, article marketing and video marketing you can provide people with information about your chosen topic.

When we say brand yourself it simply means promoting yourself instead of your company or products. But don't worry, it doesn't mean you won't get any interest in your business opportunity. Get this and you will have cracked the code to succeeding in network marketing:

It's you your prospect will join in business not your company. By promoting yourself with education and training materials that help your prospects move forward there will virtually be no need for the dreaded sales pitch. Remember this the next time someone talks about the renegade network marketer scam.
