List Builder And EBooks - You've Got Questions, I Have Answers
There are three questions today, Question #1: What should you do with the subscriber report lists that List Builder emails you?
Answer: Look at the lists and verify this information in your Autoresponder. For example, List Builder may send you a list that 200 people signed up for your list today. Then log into your Autoresponder to verify that 200 new people have signed up. Then just save the List Builder list so you can have them for the future. Make sure to save them so you have them just in case List Builder loses them.
Question #2: In 1Shopping Cart when selling a digital eBook do you upload your digital eBook into the 1Shopping Cart system for the customer to download? Or do you have them redirect the final order for the digital eBook back to the download page on your server site?
Answer: It depends, but typically I upload your digital eBook into the 1Shopping Cart system and then customers can download it. This is the easiest way to do it.
If you want to have more control on what the customer sees on the order form then put the eBook download on your own server.
People also ask me if you should let 1Shopping Cart have more control over where the customers goes or do you want get the customer back to your own website. My answer is that it depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to throw in bonuses then you have more control when you put it on your own website.
Question #3: I would like to do an eBook. Can you recommend a product to help me create my eBook?
Answer: You don't have to buy a product. Go buy Sony Sound Forge at internetaudioguy for $97. Get a $20 microphone at Walmart. Push the record button and start talking. Record your eBook content. Save that file as an mp3. Upload it to your server using Filezilla.
Then hire a Freelancer from Elance. Submit a freelance want ad that tells the freelancers exactly what you want to hire and what services you need. For example, say "Transcribe this audio and send me back the transcripts."
Let's say you talked for 2 hours then it will cost you about $30-$60 for the transcription. The freelancer will send the transcript back to you. Clean up the transcript to create your eBook. Rearrange the content if necessary. The important thing is that you have all the content you need to create your eBook.
You need to get graphics created for your eBook which is the eBook cover.
You are now done with your eBook so the next step is to tackle your sales letter. Basically, you don't need a special product to create your eBook. Instead, follow the steps I detailed above.
