Hot Neighbor do Not Even Think About It
If you just moved into a new place you may have been checking out the neighbors and found that one of them is definitely easy on the eyes. Perhaps you had someone new move in near you and you're just checking out the new neighbors and stumble upon a real hottie.
You may instantly have fantasies of hooking up with the hot new neighbor, but there are some really good reasons NOT to do it! Hooking up with a neighbor is almost never a good idea!
Why don't you want to hit on or hook up with your neighbor? Below Some of the best reasons not to hook up with the neighbor.
If she says no, every time you see one another or have to interact it will be awkward. Imagine pulling into your driveway and seeing the person after they have rejected you or going out to get the mail and meeting them at the mailbox? How about the neighborhood BBQ or the block parties? You'll forever feel uncomfortable and you shouldn't feel nervous about going outside and hanging with the neighbors. It's better just to observe from afar.
Not only will you be uncomfortable with your neighbor from there on out after being rejected, you may also be uncomfortable around your other neighbors. If you find that the person that rejected you becomes close with other neighbors, you may worry that you are the butt of all of the neighborhood jokes. You have to live there, the last thing you want is to be the reject!
Of course, if the person does accept your advances, you could end up in trouble too! The problem could be that things could move really fast and you could get in over your head. You could basically end up living together in a short period of time, and this is almost always a bad thing!
If things do go well initially, there is no saying if the relationship will continue. What happens when you break up or if things get bad? If you are going to continue living where you are living, it is a good idea to keep things neighborly in the most G-rated sense of the term.
We've all dated those people who are just a little "off" or crazy. You don't want to jump the gun and hit on someone who could be one of those people because then not only did you initiate the contact, they know where you live!
As you can see, it is just a better idea to leave it well enough alone than to hit on your neighbor and be sorry for it later. There are just too many things that could go wrong in any relationship, and when you live near someone it could just get really ugly really quickly. Instead of hitting on your neighbor, be neighborly and just appreciate their hotness for what it is.
