Big Men's Clothing Has Never Looked Better
We're always told that the best things come in small packages but ask the average person and they would have to disagree with that remark. It simply doesn't make sense. Still not convinced? What about Giselle, the Dodge Magnum and the Magnum 80' power boat for starters?! If the best things really do come in small packages why when you go out are all your mates stood around with pints in their hands rather than the smaller (better?) half pint alternative?
Being big definitely hasn't done multi millionaire Peter Jones or ladies man James Corden any harm, and we've a sneaky suspicion that deep down Betty Ross preferred the incredible hulk to Doctor Robert Bruce Banner any day! To be fair who ever first came up with the concept that the best things come in small packages was obviously slightly vertically challenged...not that we're ones to judge a slightly smaller cousins. OK so diamonds are small we get your point, but if the best is really the tiniest then why isn't that girl of your dreams hankering after a 0.1 carot engagement ring rather than a 3 carot sparkler! Things would be a lot cheaper if she were.
Kylie Minogue may be one of the few exceptions, but for every short girl there are ten leggy lovelies who won't hurt your back when you walk down the street holding hands with them. Skinny, pretty boys do tend to grace our TV screens but that's because short arses look great on the telly. In the real world, women like real men. Someone who's going to make them feel like Kylie even if they're slightly differently proportioned, who they can have a laugh with and who won't tut about the calories every time they reach for a glass of wine or another piece of chocolate cake!
If you have been lucky enough to find big men's clothing departments in your local retailer it probably hasn't been up to par fashion wise. OK so you don't fancy wearing a trendy sarong or a matching his and her leather bomber jacket à la David Beckham but a bloke still likes to look good no matter his size.
So why doesn't the average clothes retailer cater for the larger man? Why aren't there fashionable big mens clothing departments in every clothes store? Well here at big Matts we have the answer you've been looking for. All our clothes are developed for the Land Rover Discoveries of the men world (big and tall) and the beauty is you can order them online in your lunch hour. Meaning less time spent trailing around the shops at the weekend with your other half, only to come out the changing room to look like you're wearing a rather small child's clothes. Sounds good to us!
