Body acne is just enough to stop you from sporting the skimpiest of dresses and not to mention a G-string on top of that. You will look quite flabby in those shabby dresses thanks to body acne in full swing. There will be no skin display on your part whatsoever. Now, this becomes quite a problem.

Body acne is common in the neck, chest, back, shoulders and buttocks. And they emerge in the form of whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, pustules, and cysts or legions. Stress, hormones and menstrual breakouts are some of the causes that lead to body acne.

How To Get Rid Of Body Acne

Regular washing your body preferably with an anti-bacterial soap or a salicylic acid-based cleanser is highly recommended. A cream or an ointment with benzoyl peroxide is good enough to dry out those stubborn pimples. And beyond that you can do without a moisturizer with alpha hydroxyl acid to exfoliate the skin.

You need to keep your body clean by washing regularly. This will keep sweat away and of course the pimples. You should make it a point that you do not squeeze the pimples because this will worsen it. The severity of body acne to the extreme point calls for a dermatologist. Treatment may involve antibiotics, retinoid drugs such as accutane, intralesional therapy, cosmetic surgery and plenty more at the doctors discretion.
