Acai berries have powerful anti-aging and weight-loss properties and are considered a must-have "superfood."
For hundreds of years Brazilians have harvested the acai berry as an essential food staple with it's rejuvenating and detoxifying properties. While acai is great for weight-loss it also has many other health benefits such as immune system support, detoxification, lower cholesterol, healthy skin and hair, increased energy, and better sleep.
Unfortunately you won't find acai berries in your local grocery store. However if you check out your local organic health food store, you will often find acai supplements such as powders, capsules and juices extracted from the acai berry.
Often you can find delicious acai concoctions at health food bars and stores such as acai smoothies and frozen yogurt. Acai tastes like chocolate so it can be a healthy desert whenever you need a sweet treat!
