Perfect Cut Barber Scissors
The customers are always the primary concern of any business or enterprise. Any industry could not exist without the patrons whom you sell your products to, which is why it is very important to gain the trust of the buying or purchasing part of the population.
Dealing with people is not really an easy task. It is often the core of a business or any industry. Communication is really an important part of dealing with people and with good communication, sincere relaying of information, that is how you earn credibility.
I have been working in a hair salon for quite a long time. I think this work is really where I belong and I really love this job. Everyday I try my best to be able to achieve nothing but the best service for my customers. I have come to reach the height of my career in our little home town. Almost every one would come to my salon to let me fix their hair or for any fashion emergency they would have. I thought then that I was credible.
I had this nightmare one time. I hired a new comer, an inexperienced hairstylist let us just say for a lack of better term to use. I thought that it will be so kind of me to hire him though he still lacks experience. Because he wanted to use his own tools for the reason that he is more comfortable with them, I also let him.
When a customer came in, he was in charge. He used his barber scissors. The barber scissors were not really that new but I think they are still good. I was wrong. The barber scissors were not working as efficiently as I wanted. It ended up that the customers hair was not properly trimmed. The customer was upset so I fixed the mess using my own barber scissors of course!
I was so upset. Had I know that the barber scissors he will use will not function I would not hired him or even tried to think about it. It was indeed a bad day. Much worse than I expected, the customer went away without paying us.
The new employee was so scared and upset of what happened. I was about to fire him. I think he will not serve me well. I even thought he will ruin the name I have worked so hard to establish. I thought I will never let that happen.
But, my humanity reigned over my head. I thought that instead of firing that new hairstylist for the mishap that his barber scissors did, I should try to understand and help him instead. So I still kept him and I also trained him. I also bought enough barber scissors so he would get used to using them.
Now, that new hair stylist is now my protegee. Who would think that a barber scissors could do that?
