Number One Reason Most Business Building Systems Fail

By John Meatte

You can't take a step these days without someone selling you the business building system of the century. Sadly, most are full of promises that never materialize. It's not that the skills don't work, it's that they're the wrong skills at the wrong time for the wrong person. One size doesn't fit to start or run a business.

You can't take a step these days without tripping over someone trying to sell you the business building system of the century. Sadly, many of them are full of promises that never materialize for even the most determined entrepreneurs. With all of these promises, it's difficult for entrepreneurs to tell the difference between systems that work and the ones that are just selling a dream.

It's not that the skills taught by those companies don't work. It's just that usually they're the wrong skills at the wrong time for the wrong person. One size doesn't fit all when it comes to starting a business or running a successful business.

How many people do you know who invest in a business building course and follow the instructions to the letter? You probably can't think of many who do. Most people want to learn the hottest marketing tactics, the latest sales skills and market products that people will buy.

If you fast forward 8 or 12 months; what do they have to show for it? Is their business still struggling or have they given it up completely? It's also very likely that they now have the mindset that they have been scammed or that the business plan doesn't work.

The real issue here could be that they did not follow the business plan at all. You can always find a mentor or an online training program to get you on track and help keep you there.

Current economic problems and inflation of every-day items force entrepreneurs to become more prudent when it comes to investing in business building systems. Today's entrepreneurs are very aware of systems that promise a dream, but fail to deliver.

Some potentially great entrepreneurs are letting real opportunity pass them by for a variety of reasons. Some reasons may include: the entrepreneur has already been scammed or they do not see the training or leadership potential in the business.

Many of the business systems floating around the Internet leave out any mention of you. Their systems are not about you and your life, your priorities or your issues. Worst of all, they don't tell you what is really needed.

Instead they send you off working full steam towards building their version of a successful business. True entrepreneurship is building your own business, not working for someone else. That's a "job."

You can spend a lot of time, effort and money chasing the dream of entrepreneurship via someone else's business system. If the end result of what they taught you wasn't about you, it was about them, it wasn't worth the effort. In cases like this, people feel disillusioned and cheated.

The Goal of Entrepreneurship

The business isn't the goal of entrepreneurship. What's important is what the business will do for your lifestyle. Will it support you living a life of happiness and convenience? After all, that is what most of us are searching for. Even the most successful business is no good if the entrepreneur is unhappy.

Important Notes to Remember

Find a business building system that works for you. It doesn't need to work for others to work for you. There are many free online training and marketing programs that will help you along your way.

You are a unique individual with unique qualities. You need a business that fits your lifestyle and priorities. If the business seems unethical or doesn't fit what you believe in, you won't put your best foot forward.

The ideal business system for you will address issues that are important to you. As with all things in life, no business system is perfect, but with careful consideration and research it is possible to find one that suits nearly every aspect of your life.
