Safe and Inexpenive Hemorrhoid Medicine

There are probably three main types of hemorrhoid medicine to consider. The first option would be some chemical-based antibiotics from your doctor. The second option would be a topical ointment of some sort. And the third option would be an herbal or natural remedy that can be taken orally. Why do not we take a look at these in order?

The first option mentioned was a chemical-based antibiotic hemorrhoid medicine of some sort from a doctor or licensed medical practitioner. The pros of such an option would be that it will probably take away the pain after a few weeks. The cons of this option would be that it costs money for the check up and also for the prescriptions. You have to look your doctor in the face and tell them you are dealing with these problems. Needless to say that is an awkward situation that we would all like to avoid.

You will also have to look your pharmacist in the face knowing full well that they know why you are there. There are also probably side-effects to the chemicals used in the mixtures. And do not forget that if you stop taking the antibiotics after the symptoms are gone, they will come right back because antibiotics must be taken for what seems like an eternity before you can comfortably continue on with your day-to-day routine.

The second option for a hemorrhoid medicine was a topical ointment of some sort. You could use an ointment for the instant relief of the pain you are undergoing. The ointment is unfortunately the messiest and most uncomfortable of your options. Clearly there is no way to keep it from spreading around down there. And while it is nice in that it provides instant relief, unfortunately the relief is only temporary. Once the ointment is rubbed off, you are back to where you started. And inevitably, it will.

The third and final type of hemorrhoid medicine to consider is an herbal or natural mixture to be taken orally. Frankly, this is the ticket I can get behind. The only con that immediately comes to mind for this type is that it is the road less traveled. It is not conventional. It is basically like thinking outside the box. The pros, however, by far outweigh the cons. A natural medicine that can be taken orally will not have any side effects, and what is better it usually costs far less than the combined doctor and pharmacist visits. It also should be gentler on your body and will consist of multiple natural ingredients for the most perfect and well-rounded hemorrhoid medicine.
