Reviews of the Firm Wave

By Carol J Bartram
Dec 11, 2008
I have been asked by my clients to review the Firm Wave Personal Gym. They had seen it advertised and knew I had a similar piece of equipment the T-Bow. I use the T-Bow for my own training and have recently started using it with my Personal Training clients and have had some pretty good results.

The T-Bow and the wave are both curved to enable them to be used curved side up or down. If placed curved side down it's unstable and you can rock on it. If placed the other way you can stand on it and use it like a step. This way you can use it to step up and down (a normal step), enhance your stretching routine, with a cheap exercise band add many strength training exercises and by using only your body weight you can so exercises like press-ups, squats and lunges.

With the Wave turned the other way (curved side down) you can really challenge yourself. By rocking and walking on the Wave you can accelerate your fat burning potential. You can also Use it to Ride The Wave by rocking, walk your way fit by turning the wave sideways, Work and develop better core stability and buy a cheap exercise band to add more resistance

The Firm claim you can burn up to three times more fat by exercising on the Wave. I'm not sure about three times but you will get one of the most challenging cardio workouts you've ever experienced. If rocking to a fast beat, the Wave will have you breathless in less than 5 minutes if your not used to it.

Considering you can do over 100 exercises on the Wave including fat burning cardio, strength training and sculpting it's a well rounded piece of equipment. The Wave comes with 4 DVD's to ensure you get the best from it, an exercise mat, The Firm's Wave, wall chart and a healthy eating guide. All for less than $100. Compared to the TBow it's not as well constructed but for home use this won't be a problem.

Many people like you will see this as another exercise gimmick. Let me assure you it's not. It will do exactly what the Firm claims. The only way it won't work for you will be if you don't use it. But then that would apply to any other piece of home exercise equipment as well. The Wave is small, easy to store, has no complicated controls and can be set up in seconds, you just stand on it!

Discover what thousands of people like you have learned. That by Riding The Wave you can achieve your fat loss goals
