Natural Cures for External Hemorrhoids

An external hemorrhoid is a case in which ones rectal vein walls and/or valves become weak. Often the causes of such a condition are from constipation, bathroom habits such as wiping too hard or sitting on a toilet for an excess amount of time, and even chronic bowel pressure as a result from poor posture or muscle tone.

An external hemorrhoid usually crops up outside of the anal edge. Generally speaking, they are usually painful. Frequently, symptoms include swelling, itching, extreme discomfort and even a burning sensation. An external hemorrhoid differs from an internal hemorrhoid mainly because of where they are placed and the general discomfort associated with each kind. Internal usually do not generate pain as there is very little sensitivity inside the anus. In fact, many who have them are unaware they are even there because of the numb area where they exist. One symptom that would give them away, would be bleeding when trying to move the bowels. External, however, usually involves a good amount of pain because the skin around them is extremely sensitive. It is also very easy to tell if you suffer from external because you will notice the tenderness right away.

It is important when dealing with an external hemorrhoid to find a natural remedy that will both ease the pain directly and also take care of the long term problem. Many sufferers of an external hemorrhoid opt for salves and ointments to ease the horrific and immense pain they feel. Nothing is wrong with that as long as they also opt for an oral treatment that will not only cure but prevent future occurrences of an external hemorrhoid.

The ingredients in the oral treatment you take should include a solution for an anti-inflammatory agent to sooth your pain from the inside out. It should also include, without question, something to strengthen your veins, as that is in fact the very definition of an external hemorrhoid is a weakened vein. Other ingredient descriptions should include some sort of a natural blood cleanser as well as a circulatory system enhancer.

Take note when treating an external hemorrhoid of the ingredients contained in your treatment. As stated before, nothing is wrong with a topical ointment or salve for temporary relief. Do keep in mind, however, that it is only temporary. Be thorough in your search for your treatment to ensure it will cure the causes, rather than the symptoms.
