Get a Jeep and Enjoy Your Freedom
If we Americans are going to get to vote on which of the BIG THREE auto companies survive, I put my vote in for Chrysler! Why? Because they make JEEPS and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY JEEP!!!
In Colorado, where I live, there are Jeeps galore, so it seems kind of strange to think that the manufacturer of the Jeep is in financial trouble! Whenever you are on the road anywhere here, you can always see at least one other Jeep in your range of vision ... and usually it is more like 3 or 4!
The Jeep Wrangler seems to be really popular here in Colorado, but maybe that is just because I drive a Jeep Wrangler, so those are the ones I most readily recognize. Its really interesting to me that you see all types of people driving a Jeep - from businessmen in suits and women in dresses and high heels to long-haired Baby Boomers looking to regain their youth in a fun, young-looking vehicle.
If you live where there is a winter season a lot of the year, complete with snow and ice, then you'll love a Jeep. Throw it into 4-wheel drive and off you go! If you live where there are mountains and valleys and off-road trails, you'll love driving a Jeep! And if you live in areas of the country where it is warmer most of the year, no problem. The Jeep is also a great warm weather vehicle - you can take off the roof, remove the side windows, roll up the back window, take off the doors ... or all of the above if you want! Take off into the back country where you can find loads of peace and quiet.
If you like a big vehicle that still gets semi-decent gas mileage, then you'll love a Jeep too! The Jeep sits high, so you can easily see over traffic and not feel like you will be run over because the other drivers can't see you. I have to admit though, the ride of the Wrangler isn't the luxury smooth ride of some other cars, but if that's not a concern of yours, its positive features far outweigh any negatives it may have.
Check out the Jeep if you love the wind in your hair, the sound of the highway in your ears, the feel of the tires hugging the road, and the knowledge that your vehicle will get you out of just about any situation you may find yourself in - anytime, anywhere!
