The Audi Q7 SUV Motor Car

The Q7 features a powerful engine and strong capabilities while retaining the luxuries that Audi has to offer in its cars.

The basic version features a 3.6L 280 horsepower V6 engine. To explain something about what 3.6L means, as it took me a while to learn. A 3.6L [or 3.6 litre] engine, is an engine that generates 3,600cc. The 'V6' means that the engine is in the shape of a 'V' rather than straight line. This engine features a six speed automatic transmission. The horsepower refers to the power of a horse, which is typically about 750Watts. The other version of engine, features a 4.2L, 350 horsepower V8 engine. This one features FSI Direct Injection along with its six speed automatic transmission for top acceleration performance. Both of these engines feature the Quattro all wheel drive system. This works to alter pressure levels on the wheels for added control.

The Q7 employs a crash sensor. What happens is that in the event of a crash, all doors are automatically unlocked and the interior lighting is automatically turned on. All fuel pumps and engines are switched off as well. The body of the car is very strong and uses a uni-body construction and with side impact guards.

Inside the SUV, the front seats can be adjusted in a number of ways and can be adjusted according to seat cushion angle, lumbar support and height. A dual zone climate control system is also used on the inside. This works to create individual heating and cooling systems for the front driver and front passenger. An optional four zone climate control system can extend this towards the rear passengers.

As is becoming normal now in the luxury car market, the SUV employs a rain sensor to activate the windshield wipers when moisture appears. A light sensor works to automatically turn on lights on the front of the car whenever it is getting dark. Technology here, is taking more and more of the small aspects of driving away from the driver and allowing the driver to concentrate more on the road.

Storage areas around the inside of the car allows you to conveniently store items. For example, there are storage nets in the passenger foot well and an air conditioned glove box. It also features a coin storage area near the shifter, which is convenient for those who travel along toll roads. In my country [UK], toll roads are rare, but in other countries they are common place.
