Now that the holidays are over, are you ready to lose all your extra body fat? Did you do what most people did? Did you go out and get a brand new gym membership? What more and more people are now understanding is that a gym membership alone will not allow you to lose body fat.

By going to the gym, you will be building and shaping your muscles. Unfortunately that will not be enough if you want to lose body fat. When you are exercising, you want to concentrate on walking, running, and biking. Those exercises will allow your heart rate to high enough so you can burn away your body fat.

You want to stay away from heavy lifting. By lifting heavy weights you will only increase the size of your muscles. That will not help you to lose body fat. All you are doing is building and shaping your muscles under you body fat. So you will never see the results of all your hard work.

What more and more people are now realizing is that those exercises will not work if you do not diet. If you do not diet, you will only burn away the fat the your body takes in that day. In order to lose your body fat you already have, you must burn away your stored fat. This is where your diet comes in. By dieting, you will be able to burn away you stored fat. Any kind of exercise will only increase your results.

The great news for you is that dieting has never been easier. We now know that there are diets that will allow you to still eat all the foods that you love while still losing body fat. The secret is to learn WHEN to eat certain foods. By learning when to eat, you will be able to diet without changing your eating habits much. No longer do you only have to eat salads while you are dieting. Learning when to eat is the secret to not only losing body fat but being able to keep it off for good. The other important thing you will learn is how to eat more fulfilling foods. By eating more fulfilling foods you will eat less and won't feel like you have to eat when you are bored. By learning those secrets you will not only lose body fat but be able to keep it off for good.

There is one important thing to remember when in comes to losing body fat. You will lose body fat by dieting and not exercising. You will not lose your body fat by exercising and not dieting.
