The Funded Proposal--How It Works And Why You Should Use It

By Gregory McGuire

It's one of worst things a network marketer can hear from a downline member.

I've woken up in cold sweats, praying it never happens to me again. I take steps to ensure my downline has the resources they need to keep this from happening to them. I remember the words, no so long ago, of Sheila, a former downline member of mine.

"I have to quit. The car needs work, the kids are sick, and I just can't afford to do this anymore."

Ouch. But, in all honesty, I understood where she was coming from. Heck I'd been there myself. After paying for your autoship and marketing expenses, sometimes there's not much left over. No wiggle room for emergencies and such. There might be a solution to this, however . . .

It's called a "funded proposal." Even though the concept might not be unfamiliar in most internet marketing circles, it's a radically new concept to network marketing. Typically, network marketing companies focus strictly on products or recruiting new distributors. As a result, many distributors go broke. Sound familiar?

So let's discuss what exactly a funded proposal is. Typically it's an agreement between you and another party. This agreement states that you will market and sell this other party's product, usually an information product. In exchange you'll get a percentage of the profits. Sounds pretty good, huh? But that's not all . . .

The most reputable funded proposal systems have back offices, which allow you to collect names and email addresses of those who express interest or buy this product. This helps you to generate leads, building your all-important list. And, it doesn't stop there.

Many people, you see, take longer to make up their minds than others, especially when it comes to business opportunities. By following up with the leads you generate through your funded proposal, you stand a good chance of recruiting these people if and when they decide to give it a go.

Honestly, as you may already know, most people you approach about your business are not going to be interested. A funded proposal lets you market a product unrelated to your business, while still generating leads, and getting paid to do so! So, how do you go about finding funded proposal systems?

Try doing a Google search for "funded proposals." Or, you can go on some MLM forums and ask others about some that they've tried. Either way, there are tons of them out there.
