Plan The Perfect Wedding
A Wedding has some good things that one dreams of, some parts that one need to take care of and some parts that are not so good but are a part of the whole affair. If the hosts can be prepared from the scratch for the wedding, the ceremony is bound to be a success and a memorable event for all.
Some of the things that the bride, the groom and their families must be aware of when starting to plan the wedding are:
- Date of the wedding: The calendar must be checked thoroughly before deciding the wedding date so that there are no major social events happening on that day as that may lead to difficulty in getting hotels and other things booked.
- Weather should be checked: It is just not a good idea to plan a beach wedding during the monsoon or a wedding in an open area with bugs and mosquitoes all around. It is extremely important to decide the venue and time of the ceremony according to the weather and temperature conditions.
- Budget: The guest list must be decided as per the financial comfort of the host so that the remaining arrangements can be done accordingly. For example, if the meal per person is expected to be somewhere around $150, then inviting 10 people less would be a direct saving of $1500 and this money can then be utilized in for some other job in the wedding.
- Negotiate: Starting from the flowers to the food and the decorations, everything can be negotiated. There is no use remaining conscious or shy and paying extra money for these services. Each rate must be negotiated with the vendor before coming to a settling price, which can be acceptable to both the parties.
- Find the right hotels: Exploring a variety of hotels can result in getting some good rooms at acceptable prices for the guests to stay. A number of hotels have the special packages for weddings and the hosts must check such packages before reaching any conclusion, as they are more convenient as well as financially more comfortable.
- Decide the categories: All the categories that will require individual attention and major chunks of money must be listed separately and should be given individual attention. One must not spend so much on the decorations that the budget for the meals begins to rock. Each category should be allotted a specific amount of money and the host must try to accommodate all the expenses in that budget for that category.
- Attend all the guests: Each guest who attends the wedding has been invited by the host and needs to be taken care of. This includes his proper seating arrangement, the drinks and the food that will be served to him, his room where he will stay and so on. All these details must be taken care of properly.
These and some more such things have a great impact on the success of the wedding and therefore must be attended minutely.
