How To Increase Back End Profits From Your Current Customers

If you have a product that you are selling and your making money on the front end without any up sells or other forms of back end profits then you could be leaving a lot of money on the table without even knowing it.

People make fortunes selling back end products to current customers who are eager to devote time and invest more money into what interests them. Specifically information products or some sort of software.

So what does back end mean? Its simple, what I mean by back end sales is this:
Say for example you have a customer who has already bought a product from you and once they have made their purchase then they are sent to the download page where they can access their product.

Instead of sending them straight to the download page you can create an up sell where the customer will see a one time offer before they go to the download page. Most people call this a one time offer but this is also a back end sale.

A front end sale is your main product. Anything that you sell to the customer who bought the first product afterward is considered a backend sale. Now there are many ways to increase your back end sales witch will eventually result in more profits for you.

When you create a product always consider the fact that you can make more then one sale from a potential customer. If a customer is eager enough to pull out their credit card to make a purchase from you for the first time, what makes you think that they wont do the same if you have more quality products to offer?

A lot of people make mistakes when it comes to offering your customer more products so here are a couple of ways to increase your backend profits. When thinking about what to sell your customers always make sure that the additional product is relevant to your front end product. What I mean by that is this.

If you are selling information products on how to generate revenue with free traffic on the front end. Then your backend product would have also have to be on something that has to do with generating traffic. Even though your front end product was how to generate free traffic that does not matter you can have a backend witch teachings some one how to save money on buying traffic as long as it still has to do with your front end product.

Another method you can use to increase your backend profits is to have another offer on your download page. This works extremely well when you give your customer a discount to one of your other products. When putting backend products on the download page I have noticed that this does not have to be as relevant as it would if you were using it on an up sell. So therefore you can offer pretty much anything you like relating to your specific industry.

Last but not least. One of the popular ways to generate more profits from backend sales is by capturing the name and email address of you customers. This is almost basic information for anyone selling products online but you would be surprised at how many people dont do it. When capturing this information it gives you the opportunity to build a relationship with your customers and keep selling more products.

In the end result back end sales will generate more profits then you would have ever thought possible (if you do it right). Once you start to get it down a little be creative and think of other ways you can set up more back end sales and your profits will start to come in like crazy!
