Three Simple and Totally Free Steps to Looking Healthier Instantly

There really are free, simple steps you can take which will make you look and feel instantly healthier. Research has shown that an important part to looking good is feeling good and this is what these three steps are about,

The first is the most obvious and we all actually know it. Drink plenty of water. There are several reasons for this. Dehydrated skin does not have the healthy glow of well hydrated skin. To get this glow you do not need hydrating promising creams, you simply need to feed the cells water from the inside. Water is essential for healthy digestion. If your digestions system is sluggish then you will not be absorbing all the vitamins, minerals and trace elements which you are eating. This causes good nutrients to be wasted. Finally, it is believed that over ninety percent of headaches are caused by dehydration.

As any headache sufferer will know it is almost impossible to feel good if you have a headache, so banish those headaches with plenty of water in your daily diet. It is worth remembering that water is best absorbed little and often, so don't gulp down a few glasses in the morning and consider your job done, you need to try to incorporate it into your life and to sip regularly. If you are heavy tea or coffee drinker then you will need slightly more water to get the same effect.

The second step is to walk tall. If you slouch then you are compressing your lungs and diaphragm and accordingly they do not function to their optimum. By holding your shoulders correctly you will open up your rib cage which will in turn result in better functioning of your lungs.

Improved lung function will increase the oxygen in your blood and you will instantly feel better and you will find that you have increased energy levels. You will also have the advantage of your clothes hanging better and fitting better. For women reading this, correct posture will also better define your waist.

The final step to instantly looking and feeling better is to take a little time. Just before you are ready to go out or to meet people it is a good idea to take a moment to look in the mirror. This is not about looking and seeing what you don't like. It is about looking and seeing what you have done and done perfectly.

Look at the different aspects you see in the mirror and notice how clean and well ironed your clothes are, how clean your shoes are, how tidy your hair is. Look at the individual efforts you have made and realize that they are all visible and all the little efforts add up to one positive overall impression. After taking this minute you should walk out knowing that you are looking good.

Now you should be ready to face the world feeling positive, walking tall and knowing that you are constantly helping your body from the inside as well.
