Cosmetics Must-Haves
We all know her. She's that one woman that has perfect skin and doesn't need a drop of makeup. If you're that rare woman, consider yourself lucky. For the rest of us, this article is for you. Like it or not, cosmetics can help all of us look and feel better. Cosmetics help us preserve our beauty while also enhancing it.
Some women will choose what cosmetics to use based on a brand they love. Other woman will shop for the deals on cosmetics. No matter how you choose the brand of product you use, all of us want good quality products. There are so many things to choose from, it would be easy to get overwhelmed.
Even if you don't use all kinds of cosmetics on a regular basis, there are a few important must haves. If you use no other type of cosmetic, consider using good skin care products. Starting with a cleanser and finishing with a moisturizer complete with SPF protection, skin care can really make a difference. Keeping your skin healthy helps your skin to look younger longer and last you your entire life.
The second cosmetic must have is eye makeup to high light the eyes. It doesn't have to be anything too drastic, but your eyes really are one of the features that can say so much. Accent the best parts. Eye color is beautiful no matter what color they are so why not put a little shadow, liner and mascara on to really make the color pop.
After the eyes come the lips. Chapped lips are probably the biggest thing you want to avoid so if you use no other product, at least use a lip moisturizer. If you want, you can put on lip color over the moisturizer. I like to stick with a basic tinted moisturizer or perhaps a light gloss if I am going out. Keeping it simple doesn't mean your lips wont be noticed. But if you like the dramatic look on your lips, there are endless colors to choose from. Just be sure to choose a color that works with your hair color and skin tones so it doesn't wash you out too much. If you want to go one step further, use a little lip liner to give your lips a fuller look.
In addition to all the cosmetics I have already mentioned, foundations, blushes, nail polishes and perfumes are also a lot of fun. With these beauty products, the key is finding the products and shades that work for your individual skin type and coloring. Also, with perfumes, remember that some of them smell differently on different people's skin. You'll definitely want to try a sample of the scent for yourself before you purchase an entire perfume bottle.
The industry of cosmetics has become huge. Almost every culture and country uses some kind of cosmetic. Cosmetics for men have become increasingly more popular as well. People everywhere use cosmetics to help them achieve their optimum look and its up to you to decide what works best for you.
