The J Garcia Tie

By Victor Santerino
Feb 20, 2009
A tie plays a big part in making your suit outfit look sharp. A tie must play off the color of the shirt, yet make its own statement. It must reflect an established tone, but introduce a new texture.

Ties are known to catch immediate attention of the observer, and to this extent, your 'Rolodex' need to be well -stacked with tasteful ties. As an office-goer, if you are expected to wear a tie everyday, you will notice that your suits are losing their sheen very soon.

A new, sharp tie can easily spice up an outfit and draw much needed attention. While there are many great designers, each with their own inventive styling, my favorite has to be those of the J. Garcia line.

For those who are unaware, Jerry Garcia was the lead singer of The Grateful Dead. J. Garcia ties are very bold, and represent the spontaneity of his music. J. Garcia ties are pretty widely sold - they are usually able to be bought at Macy's, JC Penny, etc.

Garcia's ties suit your pocket, unlike those from the costly makers. Youngsters today prefer them because these ties are just what they are looking for. It is this aspect which has made these ties have their own identity and earned them instant recognition.

The quality is never compromised, yet the line is offered at price points that nearly anyone can feel good about. Easily transform your everyday work wear from dull to trendy with a slight edge by donning a J. Garcia tie.

Now comes the task of selecting a suitable shirt that will look good with J Garcia tie. I have a few ideas to offer. For one, an alluring black shirt will look good with all J Garcia ties. A black suit with a similarly colored will make a fashion statement. To go for a shirt that matches well with any of the shades in the tie, would be the next option.

For men who come upon 'the tie problem', Garcia is reachable, trendy and has a ready answer. I would advise you to invest in them and let them make their way into your wardrobe.
