Goji Juice History

There are the stories in Chinese myths, which recognize the Goji as the fruit of immortality. Chinese naturopaths attain the Goji plants as there remedy for the long time as 250 years. On the other hand, there are the nations like Tibet, India and Nepal, which also have the Goji plant as their herbal and natural healthcare option for long time. Indian Ayurveda also recognizes Himalayan Goji as a very important fruit in Medicare.

Chewing the Gojis as you drink is a wonderful experience with four grams of fiber per handful. It's a great pick-me-up between meals and the most delightful way to enjoy a glass of water.

Goji Fruit Juice:
For a unique experience in nutrient energy that you feel throughout your body as a buoyant lift that fills you with joy and feeds you right down to a cellular level. Blend together equal amounts of Goji Berries, blueberries, cherries, peaches, apples, raspberries and blackberries. Put in a blender for a few seconds, add a cup of water or orange juice for easier blending, pour into your goblets and drink an elixir of live energy! To add a special touch dust the top of juice with cocoa powder and a light sprinkle of chopped pine nuts and serve.

Goji Power Juice / Jam
A zesty energizing drink or spreadable jam depending on the amount of water added.
1/4 cup Tibetan Goji berries, soaked, keep and use soak water
1/2 tsp orange zest
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 pitted date or 1 tsp raw honey or agaves nectar
Blend until pureed for a jam, add 1 cup coconut or purified water for a juice.

Cranberry Goji Sauce
8 oz. Fresh or frozen cranberries, washed, drained
1 Gala, Fuji, or other sweet apple
4 pitted medjool dates
1 peeled orange, pitted
1/2 tsp orange zest
1/2 knuckle fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup goji berries, soaked with soak water
1/4 cup raisins

Blend ingredients except berries and raisins in a food processor with the "S" blade. Stir in raisins and berries whole and let soak about 2 hours before serving.

Contains 21 trace minerals, including germanium, an anti-cancer trace mineral rarely found in foods

Contains more protein than whole wheat (13 %)

Goji berries are the richest source of carotenoids of all known foods

Contains Vitamin C at higher levels than even those found in oranges

Contains B-complex vitamins, necessary for converting food into energy

Contains Vitamin E

Contains Beta-Sitosterol, an anti-inflammatory agent. Beta-Sitosterol also lowers cholesterol and has been used to treat sexual impotence and prostate enlargement.

Contains essential fatty acids, which are required for the bodys production of hormones and for the smooth functioning of the brain and nervous system
Contains Cyperone, a sesquiterpene that benefits the heart and blood pressure, alleviates menstrual discomfort, and has been used in the treatment of cervical cancer.

Contains Solavetivone, a powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial compound.

Contains Physalin, a natural compound that is active against all major types of leukemia. It has been shown to increase splenic natural killer cell activity in normal and tumor-bearing mice, with broad-spectrum anti-cancer effect. It has also been used as a treatment for hepatitis B.

Contains Betaine, which is used by the liver to produce choline, a compound that calms nervousness, enhances memory, promotes muscle growth, and protects against fatty liver disease.
