Do Video Games Cause Violence In Children Yes or No
I think the average person fully understands the dangers associated with playing some video games. The violence in video games has escalated and looks more graphic due to the incredible graphic designs in these games. Video games are just like movies, they suggest and present negative images to children which most kids have a tendency to act out.
Video games in their own sly way teach kids how to be aggressive. In order to carry out a more realistic view of war in certain war games or fighting in certain fighting games, game producers employ real like events that are graphic and could possibly be duplicated in real life, which many times involves aggression. Games use aggressive language like kill, killed, and many times uses aggressive maneuvers. These are bad images that kids do not need to be exposed to. Do video games cause violence? Yes.
Many kids like to act out what they see someone else do. Watching violence and aggressive related material is not good for kids. Playing a video game and having to shoot the enemy in the head in order to win the game is aggressive. Being exposed to certain profane words promotes aggression. Listening to sexually explicit music that is embedded in these game is unnecessary. Much of childrens misbehavior is tracked back to something they saw someone else do or heard someone else say.
In most fighting games or wrestling games the first thing game players want to learn are the special maneuvers that are locked. Many of these maneuvers are dangerous and very teachable by observation. Kids again will emulate what they see and try these maneuvers on their friends or kids smaller than them to see if they can do it. Do video games cause violence, yes. Many of these moves are violent and if tried can get someone hurt. I do not know if video games say do not try these tricks at home but they need to let kids know that they should not try those stunts at home or on others.
Many times violence and profanity are joined together when there is an occasion of a violent act. Video games now are laced with profanity that video game makers for some strange reason allow inside their games. I do not understand the reasoning behind this but they continue to do so. More kids now use profanity because it exists everywhere including video games. Profanity incites a certain level of aggression in kids. Violent video games are bad influencers on kids and will turn a kid with good habits into a kid with bad habits overnight. Do video games cause violence, yes of course.
