What to Expect in World of WarCraft Wrath of the Lich King
World of WarCraft Wrath of the Lich King is the 2nd expansion of the highly acclaimed MMORPG by Blizzard. It has been a successful series so far and even with its 2nd expansion, gaming critics continue to praise the new additions of WoW in a similar fashion to their positive responses in the 1st expansion. The success of this game revolves around the many new additions and enhancements that make it worth the $39 upgrade.
New Features in World of WarCraft Wrath of the Lich King
The new Continent of Northrend is available for exploration, opening up a whole environment and new challenges to experienced players.
Level 68+ characters will have their hands full will a new adventure in Northrend where they will encounter familiar undead challenges along with a final battle with the Lich King himself - Lord Arthas. Many new instances are found in Northrend including a newly updated Naxxramas that now floats above the Dragonblight.
Introduction of Hero Classes and the Debut of the Death Knight
Hero classes finally make an appearance in World of WarCraft Wrath of the Lich King with death knight being the first and only available so far. He is creatable when players reach level 55 and start out at that level complete with a barrage of skills available. The death knight will also have a unique combat system that uses runes. Any race in any faction is capable of creating this formidable character.
More Room for Growth
The level cap has been bumped up again from level 70 to level 80. The 375 skillcap has been also raised to 450 in the expansion. With these changes, you can now have 51-point talents. You can also take your characters to barber shops to change their hairstyles as well as some tweakings to your characters' facial attributes.
One Big Patch
Plenty of new smaller enhancements were added to improve the gameplay more as well as adding more fun elements giving you plenty of new creatures to slay, more quests to embark on, and tons of new items to collect. Once again, Blizzard are delivering an expansion that caters to the needs to existing high level players, as well as adding a slew of new and compelling content to newer and low level players.
Any WoW fan will most definitely love the changes in World of WarCraft Wrath of the Lich King. Anyone sticking to the previous titles is definitely missing out and high-level characters should upgrade right away to explore Northrend and face the Lich King himself. The great thing is that this expansion won't be the last because more hero classes will be added in future expansions.
