The word of mouth advertising is one of the oldest ways of advertising known in the MLM industry. It is still around simply because it works. To use this type of advertising, you will need to be approachable and speak to as many people face to face, as you can. This includes strangers in the street or people that you may meet at gatherings, etc. Often, if you speak to people and find they are not interested in your MLM opportunity, they may know someone else who is.

Classified Ads

Classified ads are a great way to gather prospects that are warm or are interested in the opportunity and genuinely want to learn more about it. As a rule of thumb, if a person contacts you for more information about your MLM opportunity, they will be in the looking zone and ready to sign up for an opportunity.

When using classified ads, make sure that you keep your ad short, concise and to the point. Trade shows can be another effective way to get interested or warm leads. Many people who attend trade shows are in the looking zone and will approach an MLM representative's booth to request information. There is, however, some important things that you will need to do to make your MLM opportunity is interesting to other people.
