The Cardio Twister Reviews - Does It Work?

By Carol J Pearson

When I go to clients houses to teach them exercise, I always try to give them ideas so that they can exercise alone when I am not present. Having a Personal Trainer come to your door several times a week early in the morning to make you exercise is a great idea, but in reality far too expensive for the average person. If the client has no exercise equipment I suggest something like the Cardio Twister.

I believe that anyone can keep themselves fit by working out on their own in the comfort of their own home with a small amount of equipment. When people tell me that they don't like to exercise alone and won't go to a perfectly good local aerobics or toning class unless they have somebody with them, I get slightly irritated! I actually had one client who would not go for a walk unless I accompanied her. Bearing in mind that I charge upwards of $40 an hour this seemed to me a very expensive way for her to get fitter and I told her so. Many times!

Exercising with the Cardio Twister at home will take care of the Cardio part of your workout (surprise, surprise). Even though the Cardio Twister has seven levels of resistance for the stepper, I do not believe that will be enough to fully tone the legs and butt, so I recommend bodyweight resistance exercises as well, like squats and lunges.

What the Cardio Twister reminds me of is a Lateral Thigh Trainer with extra handlebars " you push your legs up and down and in and out, and the smooth gearing turns the waist-level handlebars as you pedal. With your hands resting lightly on the bars, you turn through the waist with each movement, adding extra abdominal training into your workout to tone muscles and burn lots of calories.

The complete kit comes with two healthy eating guides and two workout DVDs, to give you lots of workout ideas and ensure you never get bored. At $160, the Cardio Twister is within the budget of most people, and it comes with a warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee, which means you can send it back and get a refund if you are not satisfied. Like all exercise machines, it will work for you if you use it!
