Connecting to People through Internet Marketing
Establishing a business is one way of connecting and building relationship with people. You will deal with at least three sets of people. First, you connect with your merchant partner and all the people involved in the same business. Second, you relate with your customers and target market. Third, with the people you are working closely, like your writer, programmers, and affiliates if you are a merchant.
We all need to meet specific people in our lives for a purpose. Engaging in a business is one of the best ways to work out this purpose. It is where we meet most of them. This email for example has reached hundreds or thousands of subscribers. Many have read and have applied the techniques and suggestions given here. In that way, I have served my purpose to you.
Still, as we walk the path along the way, I keep on providing new information and lessons to you and you keep on learning from me. I am therefore serving the purpose of being a teacher to you.
For my staff, I have given them the opportunity to practice their skills and knowledge, and further improve their craft. They are also earning out of this and the income they get provides the needs of their family or themselves. I am also learning from them as I am able to practice and improve my patience and understanding. Before, I didn't know what they were doing; but now, I get a glimpse of how to do things like web designing.
From my fellow on the same level, I get to learn more out of the business. The experiences of the people, especially those who have been here ahead of me, become part of my lessons. Attending their teleseminars and webcasts has helped fill my cup of knowledge. Instead of doing Internet marketing from zero and going through the stages of development by mere hands-on experiences, short cuts make my learning faster.
Good and not-so-good people connecting to us are needed in mastering Internet marketing. We cannot choose the good eggs only. We must discover the purpose for meeting even unfriendly people. The lessons they can impart us can never be provided by good people. How can we test our patience if we would only deal with calm people? How can we improve our product if there would be no one commenting or complaining? The approach they may do is very negative, but never be deceived by the expressions. Listen deeply and closely to the points. Listening is not just hearing but comprehending.
The Internet is the easiest and fastest way to connect--the broader your connection, the wider and deeper your ocean of opportunity.
