Gossip Girl Episode Character: Serena Van Der Woodson
Ever since Serena stepped off the train in Grand Central Station, New York, this tall blond and privileged girl has been stirring up gossip. The reason for her coming back to New York was a mystery to most. The chatter amongst the upper east side gossip girls was almost deafening. She had no idea how much things have changed and what lay ahead for her.
She had her work cut out for her to rekindle the long time friendship with best friend Blair Waldorf. Blair is mad at Serena for leaving with no word and no goodbye. Serena needing to escape the clutches of the upper east side elite, ran away to a boarding school in France. After a year of partying and travelling she decided it was time to come back and face the music. Unaware of the damaging changes to Blair's life, Serena found that being accepted back into not only Blair's life but that of her school mates was not an easy feat.
After an unsettling incident with Chuck Bass, Dan Humphrey comes to the proverbial rescue. They make a date. After some interesting and unusual dates, they fall in love. The road has not been easy for the two love birds, they have broken up many times but there love remains strong. Neither one of them ever expected that there parents long before had a relationship. Not only a relationship but a child as well.
As the new season unravels it seems Serena Van der Woodson has some competition for lonely boys heart. New Constance billiard teacher Rachel Carr is not only going after lonely boy but enforcing new laws and starting a war with Blair. Serena runs into Dan looking like he is about to kiss Rachel in a coffee shop. After taking a picture she gives Blair the ammo she needs to take Rachel down and secure her spot in Yale. Little do they know, rumor has now become truth. The end result has Rachel being fired and Dan and Serena officially breaking up. When Dan goes to apologies to Rachel for the misunderstanding she takes their relationship to the next level. What will happen now that Rachel has been reinstated to Constance? What will happen between Dan and Serena?
