Yes, at first sight. But you will soon discover that many people know or like things that they don't put that much thought into. Finding those 20 things you could do will be made easier when I tell the following 2 words, niche-marketing!

OK, let's stop here for a second. Niche marketing is probably the single most effective condition for you to have success in your online business. For example, let's suppose you discovered 3 of your hobbies and passions you could make a site about. Let's say that one of these passions is music. Following the niche marketing theory, if you would start an affiliate site about music you would be guaranteed to fail right from the start. Instead, try to break this concept into smaller ones. For example, music to classical music to great composers to Mozart. Starting a website about Mozart rather than about music is the difference between success and failure. The conclusion: you need to find a niche rather that a way too general concept.

Niche research should be done in a strict matter. After you found your 20 possible subjects, focus on 3 and research their potential. Check out if there are other websites about that particular subject. You need to analyze your market properly. If there are a few successful websites, it can be a sign that your particular niche has potential. Don't think that much about the competition, because the internet is a vast market, which will not get saturated that soon.
