Mastering Astral Projection Methods

Introduction to Astral Projection - Another famous term for astral projection is OBE, which means out-of-body experience. Several existing debates try to find a conclusion on whether this is a natural ability or a method that can be learned and developed. This method involves leaving your physical body to travel to a different dimension. Most of the time, it happens during sleep when your conscious mind is inactive and your subconscious mind decides to take over. Expert studies even point out the idea that it happens to everyone but some are unable to remember the experience.

This experience though must not be confused with near-death experiences, which is more commonly known to most people. Unlike the latter, your astral body do not need to go through the white light or tunnel that is often noticed by people who go through near-death experiences. The reason for this is that as opposed to one predetermined destination with near-death experience, here you can decide where you want to go. Thus, it is often cited as the opportunity for your dream body to travel to settings that do not have any physical parallels or transcendent environments.

Body Talk - Several people who've experienced the out-of-body experience cite that they have the opportunity to see their physical body from a distance. Hence, many are confused as to what happens to your body when the subconscious mind leaves it. It is simple: the body remains at rest. This process of astral projection does not do your body any form of harm.

Other fears involve the silver cord that is attached to the physical body. It is important to know that it will not be severed if you should project astrally. Therefore, you can always go back to your physical body whenever you are through with your astral projection.

As your astral body is separated, it wanders through different places in a new realm. Several people who've experienced this describe floating or the effect of flying.

Suggested Techniques - Experts point out that anyone can project astrally, requiring only the increase of your senses by employing certain methods. If you are interested to try this, below are some tips you can employ:

Rope Technique - Imagine your room with an invisible rope hanging from across the ceiling. This imaginary rope will to produce dynamic pressure on a particular point in your astral body to create a separation from your physical body. As you continue imagining the presence of the rope, reach out for it and slowly pull yourself up. Keep pulling as you concentrate on your thoughts. Eventually, you will feel your body let go and delight in the feeling of floating above your physical body.

Hammock Technique - Begin by visualizing yourself lying in a hammock. Continue to imagine the wind swaying the hammock on opposing directions. As you repeat the visualization process, it will eventually result to you rolling out of the physical body.

Sleeping Technique - Lie on your bed as you face the ceiling. Free yourself of any thoughts and focus on staying relaxed. Imagine yourself watching your own body as you sleep. This will eventually result to establishing a trance state but make sure you remain conscious of what you're doing. It is normal if you start to feel dizzy or the effects of vibration. Visualize your body as floating a few inches on top of your bed.

For a more successful astral projection, you can try out a few methods first and settle for one that provides better success.
