Guilty Pleasure of Many Adults, The Hannah Montana TV Show
Miley Cyrus, daughter of the achy breaky country star, Billy Ray Cyrus, stars in the Hannah Montana TV Show, leading a double life as both her "real" self and as Hannah Montana, a preteen pop singer. The Hannah Montana TV Show is a phenomenally successful show created by Disney and is very popular among the preteen crowd up to kids around 15 - and is the guilty pleasure of many adults as well!
The Hannah Montana TV Show begins with Miley moving to Malibu and follows her mostly normal day to day life, which includes bullies, crushes, pimples, best friends, and her weird younger brother Jackson. Miley lives with her father, Robbie Stewart (played by her real father, singer Billy Ray Cyrus), who doubles as her manager and confidante for many of her troubles. Robbie is a widow, and has a close relationship with both his son and daughter. They go through many of the same problems real families face, and are very easy to relate to.
Overall the Hannah Montana TV Show is bright and happy, and often has strong morals to its plots. Miley attends high school like a normal kid, works hard for her grades, and has a serious crush on a boy in her class. Her best friend Lily is the only person outside of her family who knows her deepest secret: that she dons a blonde wig and transforms into pop sensation Hannah Montana by night! She enjoys her double life and somehow manages to keep them separate, which leads to many funny close calls on the show.
The Hannah Montana TV Show cast includes the father and daughter Cyrus pair, Emily Osment as Miley's best friend Lily, Jason Earles as her brother Jackson, and Mitchel Musso as Miley's other best friend Oliver. I'm sure many Hannah Montana TV show fans are looking forward to the upcoming Hannah Montana movie due out in April.
After a shoe fight with Tyra Banks, Robbie takes Hannah Montana out of the spotlight and back to her roots in rural Tennessee for a while. Miley has a chance to really let her hair down (or take it off, as it were!) and just be Miley for a while, spending time with her family & friends and even developing a new love interest. She learns the true value of family and wonders if all the fame is worth it anymore. Miley appears to make a decision that will change her life forever. Fans are eagerly waiting to find out if the Hannah Montana TV Show will still be around after all of this!
