How Does Panic Start?

The road to freedom from anxiety illness is to become familiar with how it develops in the first place. Step one in the development of anxiety disorder is the onset of an unusual amount of nervousness. This nervous condition can sprout up from any of several situations. It could be a relationship breakup, an illness or another trying life circumstance.

Nervousness makes adrenaline shoot through the veins. Once adrenaline pumping becomes constant, it can bring unfamiliar and disconcerting sensations.

Fear Builds Adrenaline Flow

These feelings will almost inevitably, bring a larger amount of fear into the realm of a nervous person and when the nerve sufferer reacts by trying to fight fears feelings or run away from them, even more adrenaline will pour. This is how panic gets a good toe hold. It increases the amount of adrenaline in the blood which will make the unwanted strange feelings become even more frightening.

We refer to this progression as the cycle of fear. The cycle of fear can make nervousness compound into panic in a short time. Every little bit of fear increases the amount of adrenaline flowing through the bloodstream. This rapidly increasing adrenaline flow will eventually deliver the panic sufferer more strange feelings. So, it follows this will manufacture more adrenaline.

Break the Cycle and Defeat Panic

In order to stop panic we need to reverse the cycle of fear. This can be accomplished by knowing it is adrenaline that brings about strange and fearful sensations. Also, the understanding that fighting these feelings and sensations or running away from them will bring on more of the same. The result will be a panic attack.

The cure lies in ones ability to let these strange feelings run rampant and dare them to do whatever they can without running from them or fighting them. You will find this is the way to stop panic. Refuse to pay any attention to adrenaline's deception, and anxiety will no longer have anything to feed on and in short order it will go away just as mysteriously as it came on.
