How To Become a Successful Network Marketer
First off, please note that I am talking here about network marketing, not MLM. Although there are undoubtedly similarities, they are not at all the same thing.
So to begin. In order to become a successful network marketer you're going to need some serious training, right? And a lot of help, right? Just where do you go for this?
A quick search on Google will bring up zillions of sites willing to help you on your way, usually for a price. The problem with a very high percentage of these sites is that they'll give you a few basic lessons - well, maybe even some really good lessons - but after that you're pretty much on your own. Sure, you can email "support" for help; or go to the FAQ section to try to find answers; you can even go to "live chat" or join the site's forum in an attempt to get your problem solved.
At best you'll probably wind up feeling very frustrated, and pretty disillusioned. And what happens next? You quit - just like 97% of new network marketers do.
But wait! You're here reading this article because you don't want to be one of that 97% ! You really do want to succeed, but just how do you do that? How do you find the "right" training? How do you evaluate a network marketing opportunity? How do you find one that's right for you?
The first thing you need to look for is a company that will teach you how to generate leads. For without leads, you're going nowhere! There are, of course, heaps of ways to generate leads. You can buy them; you can try your "warm market" - eg, your friends and family - yuk! And countless other ways, most of which simply do not work; or they generate too few leads over too long a time to be of any real use to you - you'll go broke waiting for real paying customers!
So! Back to the type of company you need to look out for. You need a company which offers a front end product - that's usually an information product for a reasonably small price. The company will ask you to fill in a form giving them permission to send you more information on their back end product. This is usually a higher priced item, and it's where the real networking takes place. Now, some of the original buyers of the front end product will also buy the back end product, but if they don't, you've still made a commission from the sale of the front end product. And if they do, you're in for a higher commission.
Every time a customer buys one of the products, they also join the system. And if they buy more products, then you will be getting residual income from repeat sales. Cool, huh? And so the network builds.
There are some excellent network marketing companies available for you to access via the internet. I cannot tell you which one to join. What I can say is that you should chose one which markets a product about which you are extremely passionate. It could be health related; fitness related; it could teach business strategies; be music related; animal related - you name it.
Network marketing can be extremely rewarding, both in personal growth, and in the attainment of great wealth when it is done correctly.
So to recap. Look for a company which offers a reasonably priced information product - which will capture leads. These leads are then followed up with information about the primary - or back end - product.
Good luck, and I wish you every success in your networking endeavours.
