7 Tips to Improve Your WoW Performance
The internet is packed with information about World of Warcraft. Some of it's good, some not so good. In this article I'll share with you 7 tips that have helped me consistently perform well in WoW.
1. Thoroughly read your quest journal.
Don't fall into the trap of asking for directions for your quest through chat channels. These are distracting and often give vague or incorrect information. It's always best to first ask a city guard for directions or use your quest journal. You can directly access the quest journal by pressing the "L" key on your keyboard.
2. Study your environment early.
Quickly study maps prior to heading out aimlessly on quests. You'll save a lot of time by sitting down and working out exactly where you need to go instead of running around aimlessly.
3. Experiment with a range of different characters.
Experiment from the start with a few different characters. By doing this you'll be able to discover the character that's going to work the most effectively for you long term.
4. Choose your profession.
When you choose your profession, do it carefully. Make sure you have a good think about what your overall goal is and pick a profession accordingly. Do you want to earn a heap of Gold or is your goal to be a master on PvP? These are the types of questions you need to be thinking about.
5. Get out and Go Questing.
Questing is generally a more fun and more effective way to advance through the levels. As a bonus, when you quest you can also earn gold and bonus items.
6. Quest lines are not restricted to race.
Many players either forget, or don't know, that questing isn't limited to your race. If for example you are a human, this doesn't mean that you have to do solely human quests. Knowing this can make a big difference to your levelling progress throughout the game.
7. Be wise when you choose your race.
When choosing between Horde and Alliance, remember that while Alliance has more content, it also has many more people playing. Consider choosing the Horde faction and you'll have more resources available.
