What Are PLR Products?

By Jason Hobbs
May 14, 2009
PLR products refers to anything that has private label rights attached to it. It can be articles, ebooks, recipes, templates, pictures etc. So, the articles that are with private label rights are called as PLR articles. Similar is the case with ebooks, recipes etc. So, all come under this category. They can be bought for real cheap prices from various forums out there. These are getting for cheap since there are a lot of people who wanna buy them.

One of the other reason behind this is that - we are not getting anything unique - these PLR products are sold to millions of people and we are getting a copy of it. So, it should not actually cost much even if its 5 K 0r 10 K of products.

People buy PLR products for various reasons. Some buy them for the sole purpose of selling and making some profit out of the products. While others buy the PLR products like ebook, articles etc, and make some use of it in their websites. For example, these guys buy products like articles and then re-write them and publish those content in their website. This way they are getting unique content for their website or blog for pretty cheap price.

This is a better way to get content for your website or blog rather than writing unique content on your own or appointing an article writer to provide you unique content on a regular basis. Well, those things may cost you much more than you can even think of. On the other hand, if you are going with the PLR products, then you can make a good website with unique content pretty easily without spending a lot of money.

PLR products can even be given for free. But how that's gonna benefit you? right? The idea behind this is simple. We are just attracting people to something giving them the products for free. Actually the people to whom we are giving the products won't even realize whether they are PLR products or not. And what we do is - we ask something in return before we give it for free. For example, we can ask people to subscribe to our newsletter or to our feeds in return to the free product that we are going to give them.

And we confirm whether they have actually done what we asked them to, then we can send them their free product - it doesn't matter whether it's PLR or not - no one is going to find out that its a PLR product that we are going to give away for free.
