The kids are out of school and the days are getting longer. Summer time is here! If your summer travel plans are taking you to the Sunshine State this year, there is no shortage of world-class beach resorts on Marco Island, Florida. This article will highlight three popular beach resorts on Marco Island: Eagle's Nest on Marco Beach, The Charter Club on Marco Beach, and Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa.

The largest of the Ten Thousand Islands situated off the southern-most tip of the west coast of Florida, Marco Island is about 4 miles wide and 6 miles long. It is surrounded by expansive, white sugar sand beaches, met by the warm azul waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Beach resorts can be found dotting the coast, taking advantage of the island's natural beauty.

Eagle's Nest On Marco Beach

Eagle's Nest is located on South Collier Boulevard directly on the beach. It is a beachfront condo interval ownership (timeshare) property. Not to worry though, you don't have to own a timeshare to stay at Eagle's Nest. Depending on the time of year you go, daily rental rates range from $255 to $395 for 1 and 2 bedroom villas or a 2 bedroom tower unit. Weekly rental rates are also available.

Amenities the Eagle's Nest offers include full kitchens, dining areas, and expansive lanais in the units; beach chair/umbrella rental; resort style pool and two spas; fitness center and sauna; two tennis courts; family games; golf nearby; water sports including sailing, scuba, snorkeling, parasailing, tubing and jet-skiing, and island cruises.

The Charter Club On Marco Beach

Located on the beach on South Collier Boulevard, The Charter Club is also an interval ownership property featuring 2 bedroom condo units. Units can be rented for $286 to $463 per day. Weekly rates are also available.

The Charter Club offers amenities for the whole family. Beach chair/umbrella rentals are available; a pool, spa and children's pool; two tennis courts; fitness room; family games; golf nearby; and a complete menu of water sports.

Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort And Spa

The Hilton is a traditional beach resort with daily rates only. Located directly on the beach on South Collier Boulevard, the Hilton offers a multitude of room options from junior garden view and gulf view suites to 2 bedroom penthouse suites that range from $239 to $2,000.

The Hilton has numerous amenities including beach chair/umbrella rentals; a resort-style pool and spa; fitness; children's activities; nearby golf; water sports; a luxury spa; and three restaurants for everything from breakfast, casual poolside lunch, and elegant evening dining.

All three of these premier Marco Island beach resorts are just minutes from fine and casual dining, world-class golf; shopping, and parks and recreation that are fun for the whole family. Regardless of which beach resort you choose, prepare to experience sunny, tropical Florida at its best.
