Listen To Music In Nature
If you have ever been near a water fall, then you must have a fond memory of the sound of the falling water cascading down the cliff, the moist feeling of the spraying water on your face along with the reverberation of falling water from all around. This unique feeling leaves an indelible impression in your mind - in your subconscious state. And when you are in a state of melancholy or your spirit is at its lowest ebb, you long for that feeling. At times, even just recollection of that sound, spreads a tiny wave of happiness in you.
Man has a dormant yet inherent affinity for nature and the sound of nature has a soothing effect on him. The rhythmic sound of the ocean waves hitting the shore, the rustle of the wind in the forest, the low yet sonorous sound of the flowing river and the thudding sound of rain - all of them have a captivating yet relaxing effect on us. Those sounds are the music in nature.
Listening to the music in nature helps us in great us to alleviate the stress, anxiety and depression in us. But not all of us can always be amidst the nature all the time. Hence, listening to them through the CDs also acts in certain ways in fulfilling our longing for it. The soothing sound of nature has a positive impact on our mental and physical being. One just has to listen to them after a hard day's work to feel relaxed and refreshed.
People use different types of nature sound to have a particular type of effect. That is, many people use the nature sound of falling rain to go to sleep. The sound of torrential rain hitting the roof and window pane and you inside the room, securely ensconced on your bed, is entrancing. Likewise, the different nature sounds like the ocean wave, mountain stream, and rain forest are being used by many. Some like to use a specific sound at a particular time of the day. For example, many people like to listen to the sound of mountain stream early in the morning.
Many nature sounds available in the market also have accompanying music and sounds like chants and hymns. Although it is a matter of personal choice, the pure nature sound has its own specialty. Some CDs also have sounds that jump from one variety to another but most prefer use the same sound uninterrupted, in one single session.
Listening to the music in nature would indeed, herald in a remarkable change in the quality of your life.
