The Best Way To Lose Weight Fast

May 22, 2009
It is estimated that today, in America, 70% of the population is overweight, ranging from those of us who are just slightly overweight to the many who are obese. So it is no wonder that there is an ever present quest to find the best way to lose weight fast. And it is clear that the problem is increasing, not diminishing. We all know that good health and wellness is affected by our weight its maintenance over time. And being overweight has a cumulative effect on vital health situations like high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and many other health related situations.

The reasons for this persisting malady is simply too much good food that is conveniently available, no time or willingness to exercise, and lack of focus on the problem due to busy lifestyles. For example, isn't it easier just to grab a burger, fries and a soft drink, than to take the time to get a more nutritious and less fattening meal. Many times, our lifestyles get so busy, we find ourselves constantly eating on the run.

If there was a "magic bullet" that would solve our current dilemma, we would surely embrace it, if we could save time, forget the exercise, and not have to think too much about it. Well, perhaps such a solution has been found.

A remarkable substance called Konnyaky is now available in an easy to use salt shaker-like applicator and can be added to each meal, in order to reduce calories. Konnyaky has been used by the Japanese for over 1500 years as a healthfood, and has been found to be very beneficial healthwise.

Konnyaky is a Japanese traditional jelly-like health food, a potato-like plant, used for making geletin and jam products. It grows wild and can be cultivated as a food, much like any other agricultural plant. Konnyaku is a marvelous health food. It does not have fat and is rich in dietary fiber. It has also been recently found that it normalizes the level of cholesterol, can prevent high blood pressure and can normalize the level of sugar in the blood.

Konnyaky is a plant that has little or no calories, is high in fiber and when ground up, it expands to 200 times its normal size when mixed with water. When added to a meal in a ground up state, it has been found to also remove up to 25% of the calories of the meal.

When using this substance, the appetite is reduced, due to the expansion of the substance, and excess residue from the meal is swept through the digestive system due to the high fiber content of the Konnyaky. Well, how good does it get - you feel fuller than you actually are, so you quit eating sooner.

Konnyaky helps to maintain your health as well as assisting in controlling your weight. It is an ideal food for weight control since it expands in the digestive system and gives you the feeling that your stomach is full, while at the same time it cleans out toxins in the intestines.

The product is approved by the FDA as a food additive and is effortlessly shaken on each meal as it is eaten. Double blind studies have shown marked weight reduction without any side effects whatsoever.

If you stop and think about all the diets that have crossed the stage in the last 30 years or so, they have all required the counting of calories, special foods, the purchase of expensive additives and products, and many other bizzare formulas. Now we can all lose weight simply by ingesting a substance that swells in our stomach, stemming the waves of appetite that tend to destroy most diets.

The cost of products that utilize Konnyaky seems to be less than the more traditional dieting systems that we see advertised so continuously in the marketplace. Many of these systems sell you their food, which has less calories than normal, but most people don't spend all that much less on their other food, as buying habits at the grocery store are difficult to change.

What a boon to dieters - now they can lose weight without exercising, worrying about spending time in the gym, or counting calories usually associated with most dieting plans. Not that we shouldn't exercise, but many of us don't take the time. Since a good exercise program such as walking, working out or any number of various regimens are a part of good health anyway, they should be implemented apart from a dieting program as a matter of course.

This is certainly worth looking into, as the only effort involved is no more than shaking a salt shaker. When used with a consistent exercise plan, this could be a good alternative to diet plans that need more discipline to utilize, but tend to fade in use as the novelty wears off.
