Stretch marks are often the problem of women who have had children, bodybuilders, or whoever does activities that would stretch out their muscles and skin. Doctors said that if you examine a stretch under a microscope, you would see no difference between healthy normal skin to skin with stretch mark(s). But if that so, why are we still having these glossy weird-textured parts in our skin?

Understanding what skin is made up of is helpful. Normal skin of an individual has a percentage of 80 for its collagen, and a percentage of 4 for its elastin fiber threads network. This elastin serves as the protein in skin that provides flexibility, and the capability of stretching.

Stretch marks, also known as striae gravidarum, are where these elastin fibers are being injured, causing it to turn into a scar. If you feel a stretch mark in your fingers, you would discover that it is very different because it is like no having any content inside, it is empty. Moreover, it is undeniably ugly to stare at so some women hide it inside their shirts and jeans as much as possible.

At one time unfortunately, these unwanted stretch marks could only be cured through surgeries. On the other hand, you may still minimize it by using natural herbals and other organic goodies. The natural method of getting rid of stretch marks could be done just inside your kitchen, or your gardens. In your kitchens, you could find those essential oils and various kinds of foods that you would apply to your stretch marks. Though this way is somewhat to far away from your wished time when your stretch marks would be gone, it is no bad to keep on trying, right?

One of the said mythical solutions of eliminate their stretch marks was by tanning. You may have it naturally, where you would let yourself be a little burned by the sun, or just by applying tanning creams. Tanning creams could cover up those stretch marks in no time. These products are highly recommended because it is safer to use unlike the natural tanning where you have a higher risk of cancer.

Another one is by mixing aloe vera extract, olive oil, and vitamin E cream. These ingredients are known to reduce stretch marks. But before putting these combined ingredients, exfoliate first the infected part using a scrubber or a loofah. To improve your blood circulation, scrub it towards your heart. This movement helps eliminate cellulites.

For other removal procedures, you may also use egg whites. Apply it on your stretch marks and let it dry. Wash it then to cold water, and repeat up to three times a day. Eggs are known to give proteins in our skin. Not having a scrubber to exfoliate your stretch marks? You may use oatmeal as an alternative.

Why go for those expensive surgeries when you have those natural ingredients that could be found in your kitchen? So try these ways now and get rid of stretch marks.
