Many people today are becoming familiar with the term "concierge," and many know and also have seen them at the concierge desk at the international and local hotels. Now concierge is slowly moving out as an independent service. They are turning out as companies and making their national and international network to give individuals professional services at discount rates.

There are basically 3 types of Concierge services namely 1.Personal Concierge, 2.Office Concierge and 3.Corporate Concierge.

Let's discuss the nature of the professional Corporate Concierge and what they have to offer.

Corporate Concierge services are efficient, effective, and fiscally practical. It's kind of like a vitamin shot to your balance sheet. Consider this: If it's true that approximately 18% of an employee's day is consumed by personal business, that the pressure of balancing work, family, and play is the primary stress factor in business today, and if it's also true that 80% of married couples both work, that 87% have family responsibilities, and 72% don't feel their meeting familial obligations. Busy schedules restrict both working individuals and couples to give proper and quality time to their and family. Overtime and extended hours are common in most professions then the corporate concierge becomes at least as essential as the computer in terms of impact on business.

The trickle down effect is faceted. Decreased productivity ultimately leads to decreased profits, decreased expectations, and decreased brand influence. Diminished expectations are particularly dangerous. The equation goes like this: second-rate performance + marginalized productivity = acquisition of additional staff, ergo your labor heavy, and the balance sheet will take another hit. The corporate concierge is the answer to such situations.

Across the spectrum, employees feel moderate to overwhelming pressure trying to balance work with their personal lives. This is a red flag waving. Employees work extra hours a.k.a. overtime; travel more for business, and travel further to work than at any other time in history. Statistics indicate employees are working 28-30 days a year more every year than they were two decades ago. Yet employee turnover is an issue and performance and productivity are major issues.

The only remedy to this is balance. Recognize the investment made in staff. Of all the arrows in your quiver, the human resource is the most powerful, and the most difficult to secure. Developing relationship enhancement protocols is the essence of what a corporate concierge does. Attract the best and the brightest, solidify relationships with current talent, and protect the not inconsequential investment the company made in staff. A corporate concierge is a tool to a company's future success.
