The process of auctioning your surplus stock and eBay selling is directly related to the period of the auction itself. In fact, the period of the auction depends on what you intend to sell. There are many options that you can go for so, check these options before you list your upcoming auction.

Single day auctions

This auction is suitable for buying and trading merchandise of high demand or that merchandise that attracts many bids in short time. You may consider listing this merchandise for one day auction only as they will be viewed on top of the list that is ending soon. In this way you guarantee many bids with good prices to be placed for your merchandise. Just consider placing a good starting price for your merchandise and they will get sold very quickly.

Three day auction
This is suitable for those listing and buying stock lots regularly, if you are listing merchandise of high demand then you will surely get quite good prices. Try re- listing some merchandise into a three day auction just two days before the end of your primary auction.

Five day auction
If you need to make use of week end to start listing of a new auction then you cannot leave your current auction to end in the same time so try putting your auction into a five day period of time. This will give you a chance to concentrate in the weekend on the next auction.

Seven day auction
This is the most popular way of auctions, when you list your wholesale merchandise for seven days, you guarantee that your merchandise get the maximum exposure and the highest number of bids but just take care do not end your auction on a week end or a holiday, the best option is to end it on a Sunday or on a business week day.
