Our traditional methods of working, gathering information on clients and long term plans are being changed by the choppy waters of todays economy. Marketers can't sit on the side lines quietly or they will soon be told that they are no longer needed. In order to survive you have to really understand what your customers need.

The changes in the market place are having an impact on all areas of business to the extent that it is very risky to predict or assume anything.

This is the reason that it's so important to keep in touch with clients and make sure youre always up to date with their changing needs so that a personally tailored plan of action can be made.

But how do you find out what their needs are? Easy, all you have to do is ask. A well put together survey or questionnaire should gather all the information you need to put together a well informed, effective business plan for a particular clients needs.

Gathering the information is one thing, but in order to create an effective business plan you need to be able to understand and use that information to gain it's optimum value.

Once you have these vital findings from your survey you can work the angle of expert in the field, considering you know their situation and have created the ideal solution that will aid your client.

Simply by asking clients to fill out a short questionnaire or survey you can diagnose the issue within their company, and create a personally fitted solution ideal for a particular client. This method is simple yet effective at keeping in touch with clients and maintaining a top quality service.
